The security situation in Yemen has severely limited activity on the Block since
early 2011. However, as already noted, KE began acquisition of 3D seismic in the
southern part of the Block in 2013 and expect to complete this by July, 2014.
Although the license expires at the end of June, 2014, a one-year extension will
be applied for and KE does not anticipate any problem obtaining it.
