Future oil production estimates have been made using field-level decline curve analyses
for the Simsim, Irad, Basma, Warad, Zahra, Jadeer, Wazer North and Ilham fields and
analysis of the decline of the other fields grouped as a whole. Three levels of forecast
have been made, denoted low, best and high, by varying the future decline rates within
ranges considered plausible given past production performance.
Following disappointing results of wells drilled in 2013 in the previously under-developed
Simsim Mid-Gharif reservoir, the Operator’s main targets now are:
