AI.1.4.3 Personnel
Manning level at site is 15 per shift; on the day of the visit there were 12 in the
vicinity of the accommodation and production area. All staff have been retained
from the previous operator and provided with an incentive scheme to maintain
production in a safe environment.
The organization of the site personnel was not immediately obvious and no printed
organizational chart was seen at the time of the visit. GCA was introduced to the
Operations superintendent as head of site operations. Subsequent to the visit, an
organization chart for the JV Operations (including the Field Operations at BEA)
was presented. The chart does not show details of the field operating staff but
shows that the site organization reports to the Deputy General Manager of the JV.
