Abdel F. (Abby) Badwi

Abdel F. (Abby) Badwi is the Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Energy.

Abby is responsible for leading Kuwait Energy ensuring the effective implementation of strategic, business growth and operational plans to achieve targeted profitability, business development and growth plans in line with the vision and mission of Kuwait Energy. He also ensures adherence to guidelines and maximizing the return to the Corporation and its shareholders. Abby is a petroleum industry executive with more than 40 years’ upstream experience in implementing exploration, development and acquisition projects in Canada and internationally.
He has a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alexandria, Egypt and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
